Why Choose Roller Blinds?

Roller blinds are a classic choice for window coverings and are perhaps the most well-known type of blind. We have a wide range of fabrics available to choose from, from plains to patterns, as well as fabrics which block the light and those which simply diffuse, there will be something for every room.

Our manual roller blinds are operated with a continuous stainless steel chain, just let us know which side you would like the chain on when placing your order. All blinds will be supplied with a plastic cleat which you can fix to the wall, to ensure the blind remains child safe.

You can also upgrade your roller blinds with the effortless Somfy Sonesse Ultra 30 WF Li-ion motor. This battery powered motor is wire free - so no loose cables hanging down from the blind, no socket space permanently occupied, and also no need for an electrician to wire the blind in! Simply fit the blind and you are good to go. We would expect these roller blinds, under normal use (operated twice daily), to last approximately 6 months in between charges.

A great option for those hard to reach places, or simply when you want to operate the blind with ease from the comfort of your own seat.

App control available with Somfy Connectivity Kit or Somfy TaHoma Switch, available to purchase individually here.

How To Measure For Roller Blinds

We have created handy guides to help make measuring for your new blinds effortless.

To summarise, all you need to do is measure in 3 places for both the width and drop. Ensure you use a metal tape measure rather than a cloth one, for increased accuracy. It is important to check for any obstructions, such as window handles, to ensure the blind doesn't come into contact with anything when it is being lowered.

How To Fit Roller Blinds

We also have guides to help fit your new blinds too!

In a nutshell, hold each bracket into place and mark the hole positions. Fit each bracket using suitable screws. Please ensure fixings are suitable for the wall/surface to which you are mounting the brackets. Once again, it is important to check for any obstructions like window handles, please account for this when choosing where to fit your blinds.
