Electric Blinds

Upgrade your home today with our range of battery powered electric blinds! Motorised roller blinds removes the need for an operating chain at the side of the blind. Why Choose Electric Blinds?

Upgrade your blinds with our electric range, powered by Somfy.

We currently have battery powered Roller, Fauxwood Venetian and Wooden Venetian Blinds available.

Roller Blinds will have full control, enabling you to move the blind up or down as required. You can also set a 'my' position using the Somfy remote, which will allow you to preset a fixed point which you want the blind to move to (rather than just all the way up and all the way down).

Fauxwood Venetian and Wooden Venetian Blinds are both available with a tilt only motor. This means you will still have a raise and lower cord on the right hand side of the blind, but the tilt function will be controlled by remote control, which are included free of charge with these blinds.

We also have a range of Somfy accessories available for purchase from here.

Electric blinds are a great option for those hard to reach places, or simply when you want to operate the blind with ease from the comfort of your own seat.

Motorising our blinds with Somfy means you will have app control available, with Somfy Connectivity Kit or Somfy TaHoma Switch, available to purchase individually here.

How To Measure For Electric Blinds

We have created handy guides to help make measuring for your new blinds effortless.

To summarise, all you need to do is measure in 3 places for both the width and drop. Ensure you use a metal tape measure rather than a cloth one, for increased accuracy. It is important to check for any obstructions, such as window handles, to ensure the blind doesn't come into contact with anything when it is being lowered.

How To Fit Electric Blinds

We also have guides to help fit your new blinds too!

In a nutshell, hold each bracket into place and mark the hole positions. Fit each bracket using suitable screws. Please ensure fixings are suitable for the frame/surface to which you are mounting the brackets. Once again, it is important to check for any obstructions like window handles, please account for this when choosing where to fit your blinds.
